Project Managers

We are indebted to a small num­ber of in-country sup­port­ers who help us to man­age our project work.  The key mem­bers of our team are as follows.

Min Lwin Oo (known affec­tion­ately as “Min Min”) helps us to organ­ise our site vis­its, and super­vises pay­ments to our ser­vice providers in Burma.  Min Min owns and oper­ates a travel agency in Yan­gon (Myan­mar Frangi­pani) and we have no hes­i­ta­tion in rec­om­mend­ing Min Min to any of you who are think­ing of organ­is­ing a trip to Burma. Shine Moe is our in-country Project Man­ager and takes day-to-day respon­si­bil­ity for all of TMP’s projects in Burma.  He is also a vol­un­teer Eng­lish lan­guage teacher, and gives a great deal of time and sup­port to the staff of the orphan­ages we are work­ing with.

Moe Myint is a vol­un­teer trustee of TMP’s project work in Burma.  He accom­pa­nies Shine Moe on many of his project site vis­its, and advises on nego­ti­a­tions with local builders, archi­tects and other project ser­vice providers.  He is a teacher in the town­ship of Twante, and also pro­vides vol­un­tary teach­ing sup­port at one of the orphan­ages we work with.

Maung Maung Oo is another vol­un­teer trustee of our project work.  He has been actively involved in sup­port­ing our work in the Irrawaddy Delta region, mak­ing site vis­its and han­dling local cash flow.  He is a Chem­istry teacher in Twante.
