Background

Every year, an estimated 1.8 million children are trafficked into slave labour, armed conflict, prostitution and pornography.

In our view, vulnerability to such exploitation is directly linked to the living conditions of the children.   Malnourishment, poor sanitation, resultant ill-health, low education levels, discrimination, low self esteem … these  are all critical factors.

At The Mandalay Projects, we’re doing something about this.

Please read on to find out how we are helping to reduce the vulnerability of children in Asia, and how you too could help us in this task.
