Many people talk about wanting to do some hands-on charitable work, but don't know how to get started. The objective of this site is to show how, with some careful planning and a good dose of enthusiasm, you might become involved in a project which makes a real difference to the lives of people in need.

Perhaps you are already involved in a charitable project, but need additional support to take your project to the next level. Or maybe you just want to help, but don't have any particular area or project in mind. Either way, there may be something for you on this website. With a focus on Asia, the site provides information on several existing projects, and highlights some other areas where external help and support is desperately needed.

These projects have been identified by a small group of friends, based mainly in Singapore. These people wanted to become directly involved in small aid-related projects, which allowed them to make a visible and meaningful difference to the lives of those less fortunate than themselves.
